Life Map Planners Big Lottery ‘People and Places’ Grant:
Life Map Planners has recently been successful with the Big Lottery grant, the charity will now proceed with its plans to extend the Life Map Planning Programme to children and young people.

This is extremely good news for us as the grant will enable us recruit and retain human resources as well as provide mentoring, training and employment opportunities to young people.

The programme will also provide volunteering opportunities for people to gain new skills and accredited qualifications which will facilitate employment and, or further education

Newport Welsh Refugee Week:
Life Map Planners hosted the Newport Welsh Refugee Week on Saturday June 19, 2010 at the Gol Centre.

The event was well attended by families, young people and community groups from across the country with participants from Bristol.

It was an all day event of 5-aside match between groups, people tasted food from across the African continent.
