Life Map Planners appoints a New Chair - The Board appointed a Chair for the charity at the last executive meeting. Alun Griffiths brings broad experience and expertise to the charity. Alun was the former Head of Education, Adult & Lifelong Learning for the Newport City Council; He is currently the Workforce Development and Partnership Manager for the University of Wales, Newport and is actively involved with the Youth Education Advisory Committee amongst other relevant roles pertinent to the education of CYP in Wales. The Management and Board look forward to a tenable tenor with Alun Griffiths as the Chair and congratulate him in the new role.
THE MILLENNIUM TRUST - Life Map Planners received an UnLtd Award as a Social Entrepreneur, Gareth Bickerthon –Regional Director stated that the foundation is committed to promoting and supporting entrepreneurship who think outside the box to find solution to social issues.
Adelaide Morgan -Chief Executive, Life Map Planners received the Award at the Award Ceremony held June 2008 at Tredegar. The award will allow the charity to progress with the Life Map Planning programme.
Information and Communication Technology Grant - we are delighted to announce we have received Economic and Business grant from the Newport City Council towards the design and development of the charity’s website.
Children and Young people age 7 – 21 years will benefit from the website linking with other agencies and statutory bodies to provide Life Map Planning support across Wales.
